Birth Doula
Finding a Doula you feel comfortable with is important, as you will be welcoming them into your private space and including them within your birth team. As your doula, I would provide continuity of care, with full support and respect in how you choose to birth your baby.
I offer a no-pressure initial consultation on the phone or in person so you can decide if I am the right Doula for you.

Birth Support

Standard Doula Package:
- Initial phone call or meeting in person to see if you feel comfortable in my company.
- My support starts the moment you choose me as your Doula.
- 3 antenatal sessions including your partner, lasting 1.5 hours each.
- Talk through how you would like to birth your baby.
- For me to get an understanding of how you deal with pain.
- Discuss any concerns you both may have.
- Talk through your birth plans/preferences.
- Discuss positions and techniques for labour.
- Talk through ways to optimise your birth environment.
- Discuss the use of doTERRA essential oils during pregnancy and birth, which are included.
- Postnatal workbook to help prepare you for after baby arrives.
- Discuss the first 24hrs after birth and ways you can establish bonding and breastfeeding.
- Helping understand babies' needs and the optimal way you can support them to adjust moving from the womb to earth side.
- Coffee catch-ups as you head closer or pass your expected due date.
- From 38 to 42 weeks, I’m on call 24/7 for you to contact me, giving you the comfort that I’ll be there to listen and support any questions you may have.
- Use of a birth pool including disposable pool liner and hose, if choosing a home birth.
- Being that continuity of care that stays with you, no matter how your birth progresses, and will support any informed changes you make along the way.
- Being at your partner’s side as he supports you, and reassuring them as your labour progresses. I’m there to support both of you as this is just as important for your partner, to be involved if this is their choice.
- Happy to take photos for you, if this is your wish to capture these memories. I can then make a digital photo montage for you, which will be a treasured keepsake.
- Staying with you after baby arrives and supporting you with your first feed as baby adjusts to life outside the womb.
- Supporting a peaceful and gentle environment as the 3 of you relax into this new chapter of parenthood.
- Packing away and tidying up the birth pool if you had a home birth, and putting things back to how they were, giving you the head space to focus on bonding with your baby.
- After birth I’ll continue my support for 4 weeks via phone calls and texts, ensuring you have contacts for support in professional areas if needed.
- I will see you for your 1 x 2hr postnatal visit during this period. This time together is for you and your partner to debrief your birth experience and discuss any concerns you may have. We can also discuss if you’d like any further postnatal support.
- A postnatal AromaTOUCH massage using deTORRA essential oils.

Enhanced Birth Doula Package:
This package includes all that I have mentioned in the standard packages plus these extras:
- Complete Hypnobirthing Course which is about 8-10 hrs (3 x 3hr sessions)
- 1:1 Private course
- Antenatal education
- The Little Birth Company manual
- Understanding on how Hypnobirthing can support you in labour
- 6 MP3 relaxation tracks
- Goodie bag
- Attending midwife/hospital appointments with you, if you choose. Having me there provides support and gives you the confidence that you can advocate for yourself to achieve your birth.

Elective C-Section Package:
This package includes Antenatal & Overnight Postnatal Support:
- Initial phone call or meeting in person to see if you feel comfortable in my company.
- 1 antenatal sessions, lasting an hour.
- Discuss any concerns you may have.
- Talk through ways to optimise your birth environment.
- Postnatal workbook to help prepare you for after baby arrives.
- Discuss the first 24hrs after birth and ways you can establish bonding and breastfeeding.
- I can accompany you in theatre for the birth of your baby.
- Happy to take photos for you, if this is your wish to capture these memories. I can then make a digital photo montage for you, which will be a treasured keepsake.
- Dedicated support after baby arrives, supporting you with your first feed as baby adjusts to life outside the womb.
- Continueous over night support in hospital to help you with babies' feeds, your comfort and emotional support.
- A postnatal AromaTOUCH massage using deTORRA essential oils.
Price: £850.00
Virtual Support:
How does this work? This allows you to contact me throughout your 3rd trimester (about 27 weeks), all contact will be made via phone calls or Zoom meet-ups.
- Would like to get a better understanding of your choices surrounding labour.
- Discuss your birth plan/preferences.
- How to create an optimal environment, which would support you to feel relaxed, allowing your hormones to work their magic.
- Discuss your feelings and options if you go past your estimated due date and how you would like to manage them.
- I would message/email you information, when required, to read through to support your informed decision making, helping you to feel empowered when going to your midwife or hospital appointments.
No question is too big or too small.
Price: £500.00
If you decide you would like me to attend your birth, this fee would be deducted from a personalised quote depending on the stage of your pregnancy.
Power Hour
What does this involve? This call can be done on the phone or on Zoom, and it involves me providing you a safe space to talk through any concerns or questions you may have regarding your birth. Some of the topics you may want to discuss:
- Talking through your feelings regarding your chosen place of birth.
- You may want to go into depth regarding one topic.
- Discuss any risk factors you may be presenting in your pregnancy.
- Discussing your options, when passing your expected due date.
- Would like to know what to expect in the postnatal period.
- Understand more around breastfeeding.
- Or some space to discuss any fears or anxieties you may have.
There are many topics that I could list, and with birth different topics/questions can be more important than others, depending on the individual. No question is too big or too small.
£50.00
Mileage is charged at 45p p/m if further then 15miles from RH10. This applies to all the above package choices apart from the Virtual and Power Hour option.

If it wasn’t for Chantal, I don’t think I would have had such an incredible birth experience. From the moment we met Chantal, we felt at ease and confident in her knowledge and expertise as a doula. Chantal went the extra mile in every single interaction we had with her both before and after the birth and her presence and coaching during the birth enabled me to have the birth of my dreams. For my second pregnancy I knew I wanted to do things differently, knowing a homebirth was the right course for me and that having a doula would help me achieve being calm and relaxed for that to happen.
From the moment I met Chantal I knew she was the right person (I did meet two others as Chantal suggested to make sure) I knew I didn’t need to but it just further solidified my decision she was the right fit for us.
She is warm, knowledgeable, like a favourite aunt who just knows what to do, say and when to do it all and just puts you at ease immediately and makes you feel like you’ve just drunk a gorgeous mug of hot chocolate.
We decided to refresh ourselves with her hypnobirthing refresher course, mainly for my husband who was overseas for our first birth. It was everything we needed as a top up without being overwhelming, Chantal delivered it in a relaxed manner which made it not seem like “learning”.
